    Learn My Style

Instead of picking a tone from a dropdown, BobWork extracts your actual team's communication style from real WhatsApp conversations — so Bob sounds like your team, not a generic bot.

    How it works

You point Bob at a real conversation → it extracts a Style Profile (sentence length, emoji use, punctuation, greeting style, how complaints get handled) → that profile becomes the voice Bob uses when replying, on any topic.

    01

Pick a Real Conversation to Learn From

Learn My Style works from real WhatsApp history — not a description of how you want to sound. Go to your WhatsApp inbox and open a chat where a team member has replied the way you want Bob to sound.

The more real back-and-forth in that conversation, the more accurately Bob can capture tone, not just vocabulary.

    02

Enable Learn My Style and Extract

In that chat, use the Extract toolbar and check Learn My Style alongside (or instead of) the other extract types, then run the extraction.

Bob analyzes the conversation and builds a Style Profile — sentence length, emoji usage, punctuation patterns, greeting style, and how that person handles things like complaints or price questions.

    03

Add Profiles for Other Team Members

Repeat step 1–2 for other staff whose style you want captured — e.g. your sales lead and your support lead often sound different, and that's fine.

With more than one profile, Bob blends styles per conversation — picking whichever profile best fits the context of that chat, rather than using one voice for everyone.

    04

Review Your Profiles Under My Reply Style

Go to Quality & Training → My Reply Style to see every Style Profile you've captured. This is also where you test and refresh them.

    05

Test & Compare Before You Trust It

Send a sample question through a single profile to see how it would reply, or compare multiple profiles side-by-side on the same question — so you can confirm a profile actually sounds right before it starts talking to real customers.

    06

    Refresh When Style Changes

A Style Profile isn't locked in at setup. If the way your team writes changes, or your first extraction was based on a short chat, re-extract from more recent history any time.

Refreshing doesn't happen automatically — it's an on-demand action from My Reply Style, so nothing changes on Bob's voice until you choose to update it.

Important: Learn My Style shapes tone and phrasing, not facts. Bob still answers from your Knowledge Base — a captured style makes correct answers sound like your team, it doesn't replace the need for accurate KB content.

    Common Questions

Does the learned style only work for topics that were in the original chat?

No — the style transfers to any topic. If you trained Bob on a conversation about pricing, it can still answer a delivery question in the same voice, because what's captured is tone and phrasing patterns, not just canned answers.

Can different roles (sales vs. support) sound different?

Yes. Capture a separate Style Profile per team member/role and Bob picks the best match per conversation context — a sales chat and a complaint-handling chat don't have to sound identical.

Will Bob automatically pick up on how my team writes over time?

No — style extraction is on-demand, not continuous. If your team's tone shifts, go back to My Reply Style and refresh the profile from more recent chat history.

How do I know if a profile actually sounds right before customers see it?

Use Test (single profile) or Compare (multiple profiles side-by-side) in My Reply Style before relying on it in live conversations.
